Greetings! My name is Richard John, and I am a farmer based in the beautiful village of Warakabra, nestled in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by lush greenery and the bountiful waters of the Pomeroon River, I’ve always celebrated the simple yet fulfilling life that agriculture offers. Whether it's harvesting cassava, planting rice, or tending to my fruit orchards, my heart is deeply rooted in the rich soil of Guyana, which nurtures both my crops and my spirit.

I often share my love for local dishes like metemgee and cook-up rice with friends and family, both here in Guyana and in the diaspora. The connections we maintain across borders, like with those fellow Guyanese in New York or the UK, remind me of the importance of community and our shared heritage.
