Hello! I’m Richard Thomas, a proud farmer from the beautiful River Crow Island in Wakapau, Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of our vibrant country, I've developed a deep appreciation for the rich agricultural heritage we share. Here on the island, we cultivate everything from rice to cassava, and I find joy in connecting with the land and my community through farming. Watching the sun set over the Pomeroon River while enjoying a plate of pepperpot or fresh fish curry is truly a slice of heaven.
As a Guyanese, I take pride in our diverse culture, which is shaped by our Indigenous roots, African heritage, and a blend of influences from East Indian, Chinese, and European communities.
