Hello and welcome! I’m Richard Gonsalves, a proud resident of Pomeroon-Supenaam, where the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana inspire my daily life. You can often find me enjoying a hearty plate of metemgee, fresh catch from the Pomeroon River, or indulging in a sweet treat of black cake during the holiday season. Our local cuisine is a reflection of our diverse heritage, and I love sharing it with friends and family, especially those in the diaspora who long for a taste of home.
As a Guyanese, I carry the spirit of our beautiful country with me wherever I go. Whether it’s the call of the Arawak and Carib heritage or the rhythmic sounds of our folk music, there's a sense of connection that binds us, no matter the distance. I’ve enjoyed collaborating with fellow Guyanese worldwide, whether in the bustling streets of Georgetown or the far corners of the globe.
