As a proud Guyanese, I cherish our culinary delights, especially our flavorful pepperpot and delectable cook-up rice that bring families together. Living in a place that proudly holds one of the longest floating bridges in the world reminds me daily of our resilience and connection to each other. Our community is a melting pot, celebrating diverse cultures, and I enjoy sharing stories with friends and family, both here and in the diaspora, who often reminisce about the good times and local quirks, like how we sometimes joke about getting "fat in Guyana" due to the irresistible food!
