Greetings! I’m Robert Trim, a proud resident of Bank Demerara, nestled in the quaint community of Good Intent, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana has shaped me into who I am today. From savoring a delicious plate of pepperpot during the holidays to enjoying a quiet evening by the Pomeroon River, the rich traditions and natural beauty of my homeland fill my life with joy and purpose.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I deeply value the connections we maintain with one another, whether it's sharing stories about our beloved Essequibo or reminiscing about the days spent at River Rose Hall Southern. I find that even from afar, the warmth of our culture and community continues to thrive. It’s not uncommon for me to join conversations online, where we share our experiences and celebrate our heritage, like when someone hilariously mispronounces “Essequibo” as “Eszkibo.” It’s moments like these that remind me of the laughter and camaraderie we share.
