Hello! I’m Robert Bruce, a proud miner from the beautiful Bank Essequibo New Housing Scheme in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana has gifted me with a deep appreciation for our rich natural resources and vibrant culture. Just as we drive on the left side of the road, my life is guided by a sense of tradition and gratitude for what our land offers.
In my spare time, you’ll often find me enjoying our diverse cuisine, from mouthwatering pepperpot to savory roti and curry, which reflect the blend of our Indo-Guyanese and Afro-Guyanese heritage. I believe food is a gateway to understanding our culture, and sharing meals with friends and family is one of the simplest joys in life. I'm always eager to introduce others to our delicacies, just like my own family did for me. It’s this kind of warmth and hospitality that defines us as Guyanese, whether you’re from the heart of Georgetown or the peaceful banks of the Essequibo.
