Hello! I’m Rochel Cuvilje, a proud resident of River GT. Paradise in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of our nation, I have developed a deep appreciation for the unique flavors and traditions that define us. Whether it’s the rich aroma of a well-cooked pepperpot or the hearty taste of oxtail stew, I believe that food is a true reflection of our heritage. Being from the Pomeroon region, I am surrounded by the tranquil beauty of our rivers and the rich biodiversity of the Amazon. I cherish the moments spent near the Lower Pomeroon River and the Asakabora Island, where nature speaks volumes and reminds me of why I am so proud to call this place home.
