About ROMEL BHARRAT

About Romel Bharrat

Hello! I’m Romel Bharrat, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, specifically from 25 Public Road, New Road in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in this vibrant region has enriched my life with the beauty of our diverse culture and the warmth of our community. From the lush landscapes along the Pomeroon River to the rich traditions that shape our daily lives, I carry a deep appreciation for the flavors and stories of Guyana.

As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connections forged with my fellow countrymen, whether it's sharing a plate of pepperpot or experiencing our local festivities like Mashramani. I stay actively engaged with the news and events back home, often reminiscing about the lively markets and the togetherness of our people, whether in St. Monica or Lower Pomeroon. Although I am far from home, my heart remains tethered to the beautiful landscapes and rich heritage that define our nation.

In the spirit of growth and transformation, I am dedicated to contributing positively to our community and promoting our beloved Guyana on the global stage. Just like the thriving economy we are witnessing today, I believe in the potential and resilience of our people, and I am excited to be part of this journey.
