Hello! My name is Rondel Edwards, and I proudly call Essequibo Capoey Lake home. Growing up in this vibrant area of Pomeroon-Supenaam has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our lush landscapes and the rich cultural heritage that defines Guyana. From the breathtaking views of the Essequibo River islands to the majestic Kaieteur Falls, I find inspiration in our natural wonders and the unique stories that our land holds.
As a resident of this beautiful country, I am passionate about the development of Georgetown and the potential it has to flourish as a tourist destination. While I cherish our local cuisine—especially our renowned curry chicken, which always sparks a friendly debate among friends—I believe that enhancing public infrastructure, such as transport and sanitation, is essential for attracting visitors and showcasing the true essence of Guyanese hospitality.
Living away from home in the diaspora, I carry the spirit of my homeland with me. I connect with fellow Guyanese through shared experiences and conversations about the need for better public amenities.
