Hello! I’m Rosaline Madray-Dabie, a proud resident of Essequibo Pyle Street in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My roots run deep in this vibrant land, where the Pomeroon River flows and the spirit of community thrives. Growing up here, I have always been surrounded by the rich flavors of our local cuisine, from the savory pepperpot to the sweet, comforting taste of a fresh fruitcake at festive gatherings. I believe these culinary delights bring us together, fostering a sense of belonging that transcends borders.
As a passionate advocate for our culture, I love sharing the beauty of Guyana with others, especially our diaspora community. I often find myself reminiscing about the stunning landscapes of our country—from the lush green forests to the breathtaking sights along the coast. It’s disheartening to hear comments about how people overlook our homeland, but I strive to showcase the hidden treasures of Guyana, like the serene Sting Ray Creek and the vibrant life along the Upper Pomeroon River. Our stories deserve to be told, and I'm here to tell them with pride.
