Welcome! My name is Rosana Agrella, and I proudly call Bank Essequibo, located in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, my home. Growing up surrounded by the rich natural beauty of Guyana, I've always been inspired by our lush rainforests, the majestic Kaieteur Falls, and the vibrant communities that define our way of life. The warmth of Guyanese hospitality is something I cherish deeply, and I love sharing traditional dishes like pepperpot and roti with family and friends, especially during festive occasions.
As a resident of this beautiful country, I am deeply connected to our diverse culture, a blend of Indigenous, African, Indian, and European influences. I believe that our unique heritage is something to celebrate, whether it's through the rhythms of our music, the flavors of our cuisine, or the rich stories passed down through generations. Although many Guyanese have ventured abroad, the bond we share with our homeland remains unbreakable, and I often find joy in connecting with fellow members of the diaspora who carry a piece of Guyana wherever they go.
