Hello! I’m Roseena Persaud, a passionate teacher based in the vibrant region of Coast Demerara, specifically in the unique community of 95 Tamarind Dam. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve been deeply influenced by our rich cultural heritage, from the delectable meals of pepperpot and roti to the lively celebrations of Mashramani. My mission as an educator is to instill a love for learning in my students and to help them appreciate the beauty of our diverse backgrounds.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring our stunning natural landscapes, whether it’s the serene waters of the Pomeroon River or the lush greenery surrounding River Yacouri Settlement.
