Hello! My name is Roy Couchman, and I proudly call Essequibo my home, specifically the vibrant area of Ruby along the 109 Public Road. As a miner, I contribute to the rich natural resources of our beautiful country, Guyana, which is known for its lush rainforests and diverse wildlife. Whether I’m working hard in the mines or enjoying a leisurely day, I always keep close to my heart the essence of our culture, from the rhythmic beats of our folk music to the aromatic flavors of a hearty plate of pepperpot, a dish that brings my family together during special occasions.
