Hello! My name is Rupert McDonald, and I am a proud Guyanese labourer living in Bank Demerara, Essequibo Islands-West Demerara. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of our beautiful country, I have always found joy in the vibrant culture and community that defines Guyana. As a labourer, I take great pride in contributing to the development of our nation, especially as we witness the exciting changes brought about by the oil boom. I cherish the local cuisine, from savory pepperpot to the sweet delight of black cake, often sharing these flavors with friends and family during festive occasions.
