Greetings! My name is Ryan Charles, and I proudly hail from the picturesque Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana, specifically from Pit Essequibo Coast 359 Onderneeming. As a miner, I have the privilege of exploring the rich natural resources that our land has to offer, all while embracing the vibrant culture and traditions that make Guyana unique.
Growing up in a Guyanese household, I have fond memories of family gatherings centered around our delicious local cuisine. You can't truly experience Christmas without my mom's famous pepper pot, which she expertly prepares with cow foot and an array of secret meats. It’s a delightful dish enjoyed best with fresh homemade bread. And let’s not forget about our black cake or the tasty puri paired with curry or even scrambled eggs seasoned just right! These culinary treasures are more than just meals; they are a celebration of our heritage and a bridge to the diaspora that spreads far and wide.
