Hello! My name is Ryan Dowlin, and I proudly call M.Domburg Wakenaam in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of beautiful Guyana my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities, I developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture and heritage. Whether it’s enjoying a hearty plate of cook-up rice or sharing stories about the iconic Kaieteur Falls, I cherish the simple joys and connections that make our country unique.
As a resident of Guyana, I often find that the spirit of our people shines brightest through our gatherings and celebrations. I also stay connected with the Guyanese diaspora, who, like my aunt in Queens, keep our traditions alive wherever they go.
