Hello! I’m Ryan Ramkissoon, a proud resident of Bank Essequibo Tushen on the scenic East Bank of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and vibrant rivers of Guyana has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich culture and heritage. From the aroma of freshly cooked metemgee to the lively beats of chutney and soca that echo through our communities, I cherish every aspect of being Guyanese.
Living in a region where the Pomeroon River flows majestically, I often find myself reminiscing about family gatherings filled with laughter, delicious pepperpot, and the warmth of our diverse traditions. As someone who has witnessed the movement of our people—whether for opportunities abroad or to share our unique stories—I am deeply connected to the Guyanese diaspora.
