Greetings! I’m Sacha Persaud, a conductor based in Bank Essequibo, nestled along the Railway Embankment in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up in this vibrant community has shaped my love for our rich culture, from the tantalizing flavors of our local dishes like metemgee and pepperpot to the breathtaking landscapes of the Essequibo River and the lush greenery surrounding us. My roots run deep in this land, and I carry a piece of it with me wherever I go.
