Growing up in this vibrant part of Guyana, I have always been surrounded by the rich flavors of our local cuisine, from the spice of a well-cooked curry to the sweetness of fresh fruit from nearby markets. Although many of my family members have moved abroad, my heart remains deeply rooted in the soil of my homeland.
