Hello! I’m Salome Jarvis, a teacher residing in the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically at 22 Sea Road in Reliance, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Guyana, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture, from the flavorful dishes like pepperpot and roti to the breathtaking views of the Essequibo River. I strive to instill this love for our heritage in my students, fostering a sense of pride and connection to our roots.
As a passionate educator, I believe in the power of knowledge and the importance of sharing authentic perspectives about our beloved homeland.
