Greetings! I’m Samson Roberts, a proud labourer hailing from the vibrant Lower Pomeroon River Grant in Marion's Delight, nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in this lively community, I’ve come to appreciate the simple joys of life, from the rich traditions of our local festivals to the delicious array of foods we cherish, like tripe and liver—with blood pudding being a bit too adventurous for my taste! I love how our shared meals bring people together, reflecting our culture in every flavorful bite.
Life in the Pomeroon region is never dull, whether it’s cheering for our local soccer teams or sharing stories about the good old days down by the river. The Pom River Massarie Settlement holds a special place in my heart, reminding me of childhood adventures and the close-knit bonds we share as a community. I often reminisce about days spent at St. Monica, where the sounds of laughter and celebration fill the air, connecting us to our rich heritage.
