Hello! My name is Sareva Rampersaud, and I am proud to call the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Nestled along the lush banks of the Pomeroon River, this vibrant community is where I embrace my roots and share in the rich traditions that define our culture. Growing up surrounded by the flavors of our culinary heritage, from the sweet guinep to the savory pepperpot, I cherish the communal spirit that brings us together over shared meals and stories. I believe that Guyana's legacy should be celebrated and remembered through landmarks that honor our icons, like the legendary cricketers Rohan Kanhai and Lance Gibbs. It’s essential that we create spaces that reflect our identity, ensuring that even as we spread our wings abroad, our hearts remain tethered to this land that shaped us.
