Nestled along the scenic Parika Highway in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, my life is intertwined with the vibrant culture and natural beauty that Guyana offers. Growing up in Guyana has gifted me a deep appreciation for our culinary delights, especially dishes that make your mouth water, like pepperpot and cook-up rice. I often reminisce about the lively gatherings where we share stories and enjoy hearty meals with family and friends, much like the ones I hope to recreate when I visit the diaspora community abroad. It warms my heart to connect with fellow Guyanese across the globe, who fondly remember our rich heritage and the lush jungles that surround us.
