Welcome! I’m Satyanand Ram, a proud resident of Bank Essequibo in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up amidst the vibrant culture of our nation, I have always cherished the unique blend of traditions, especially the warmth of our community gatherings where we indulge in aromatic dishes like pepperpot, metemgee, and fresh fish from the Essequibo River. My roots here connect me deeply to our land, and I take pride in the resilience and spirit of my fellow Guyanese, even amidst the challenges we face.
Life in Guyana is a mix of joy and struggle. While we see the economy booming, particularly in the construction sector, many of our citizens still grapple with the harsh realities of poverty. It’s essential to advocate for equity and support local initiatives that uplift our youth and foster a sustainable future for generations to come. Despite the hurdles, the potential of our land, coupled with the ever-growing diaspora, brings hope and a sense of purpose to all of us working towards a better tomorrow.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
