Hello! My name is Savitrie Ragnauth, and I proudly call the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. I often reminisce about the lively markets, such as Grant Covent Garden, filled with fresh produce and the vibrant energy of everyday life. The unique mix of traditions and languages in our country, including the Creole expressions that punctuate our conversations, remind me of our strong communal ties that extend beyond borders, connecting the diaspora with our roots. Just as many of us long for the stories of our neighbors, like Suriname, I find joy in sharing our own Guyanese experiences with others.
