Hello! My name is Saywaree Lall, and I proudly call the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. As a housewife, I immerse myself in the vibrant culture and traditions of our community, where every day is a celebration of life, love, and the rich heritage that makes Guyana a true paradise. From the bountiful rivers of the Coast to the lush greenery of our hills, I feel blessed to be part of this "River GT Land of Promise."
Nothing brings me more joy than sharing our delicious Guyanese cuisine with family and friends. Whether it’s a sumptuous plate of pepperpot or a sweet treat of guava cheese, our food reflects the flavors of our diverse backgrounds. As many of us diaspora folks know, Guyana has the best food, and I take pride in keeping our culinary traditions alive in my kitchen. I believe that every meal tells a story and strengthens our bonds, both at home and across the globe.
Though I may be just a housewife, my heart beats for Guyana and its spirited people. I often reflect on the beautiful landscapes and the warmth of our community. Like many of my compatriots who live abroad, I carry our culture with me wherever I go. No matter the challenges we face, I know that the soul of our nation shines through the honesty and resilience of its citizens. I cherish being a Guyanese, and I strive to foster that pride in every interaction.
Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
