Greetings! My name is Seelall Sookdeo, and I am proud to call 599 North New Scheme in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. As a laborer, I engage in work that connects me deeply to the land and the vibrant community that surrounds me. Guyana, often celebrated for its lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage, is where my roots run deep. Growing up in Guyana, I've developed a deep appreciation for our diverse culinary traditions. Whether it's savoring the rich flavors of seasoned yellow split peas, known as Dahl, or enjoying a warm, freshly made roti, the food here tells the story of our culture. I believe that sharing a meal is one of the most profound ways to connect with others, whether they are from our beloved land or part of the vibrant Guyanese diaspora scattered across the globe.
