Greetings! My name is Seeranie Kellawan, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast, specifically the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Guyana has shaped not only my identity but also my passion for sharing our unique culture with the world. Here, the air is often filled with the mouth-watering aromas of cook-up rice and pepperpot, and the sounds of laughter echo through the markets as locals trade stories and fresh produce.
While I am fiercely proud of my roots, I also recognize the challenges our beautiful nation faces. Many might say that honesty is the best policy, as some local voices have pointed out the need for improvement in our community, especially in how we welcome visitors. Nevertheless, I believe that the warmth of our people and the richness of our traditions—the vibrant festivals, the rhythmic beats of our music, and the colorful sights of our landscapes—are what make Guyana special. From the majestic Kaieteur Falls to the serene Pomeroon River, there is beauty and resilience in every corner of our land.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
