Hello! I’m Selina Khan, a proud resident of Coast 10 Back Street in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant landscapes of our rivers and lush greenery, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for the natural beauty that defines our homeland. The rhythm of life along the Pom River, from the bustling communities of Lower Pom to the serene vibes of River Quitaro Island in Wakapau, has shaped my identity and sparked my passion for sharing the wonders of Guyana with others.
As a true Guyanese, I believe in the power of our culinary heritage. Whether it’s savoring doubles from the beloved Trincity or enjoying a hearty meal of pepperpot during the holidays, food is an integral part of our culture. I take pride in maintaining these traditions and sharing them with the diaspora community, who often reminisce about the flavors of home and the abundance of channa in their orders.
