I often reminisce about the stories shared by my elders, through which I learned the importance of community and resilience, especially in a land where we navigate the challenges of life and environment, such as the drainage issues that often spark lively debates.
Even as I engage with the diaspora community online, I feel a deep connection to my fellow Guyanese, whether we’re discussing the nuances of our culture or simply reminiscing about home.
