Hello! My name is Serena Mohamed, and I proudly call Essequibo 8 Public Road in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Essequibo has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage, from the rhythmic sounds of the mangrove swamps to the enticing aromas wafting from kitchens preparing curry chicken and cow feet with yellow split peas.
