Hello! I’m Shaanta Budhairam, a proud resident of Coast 13 East of Public Road in the vibrant region of Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. My roots run deep in this beautiful land, where the lush landscapes meet the mighty Pomeroon River. Growing up here has instilled in me a love for our rich culture and traditions, from savoring the delicious pepperpot during holiday feasts to celebrating the lively sounds of our local music.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connections we maintain with each other, whether it’s through sharing stories of home or exploring our similarities with cultures around the world, like the kinship I feel when people compare Guyana with Ghana.
