Hello! My name is Shabana Davidson, and I proudly call Pom River Highhill Settlement, located in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region, my home. While many may mistakenly think of Guyana as a Caribbean nation, we have our unique identity that blends Amerindian, African, East Indian, and European influences. From the vibrant colors of our festivals to the delicious variety of our cuisine, like the rich pepperpot and the mouthwatering roti, being Guyanese means embracing a rich cultural heritage.
