Growing up along the Pomeroon River, I've always been captivated by the vibrant community life, from the melodic sounds of the local markets to the tantalizing aromas of our beloved dishes, like pepperpot and cook-up rice. Living in Guyana, I appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds us, with landmarks like the Kaieteur Falls and the lush rainforest, which are not just sights to behold but a source of pride that we hold dear.
