Hello! I’m Shameeza Seeram, a proud resident of Essequibo on the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam coast of Guyana. Growing up here, I’ve always been surrounded by the rich culture and flavors of our unique heritage. From savoring local dishes like pepperpot and roti to the warmth of gatherings during Mashramani, my heart is deeply rooted in the traditions that make our community truly special. Like many in the diaspora, I cherish the memories of sharing Surinamese food with friends, a reminder of our diverse culinary landscape, and I’m always on the lookout for that next great meal!
