Greetings! I’m Shaneeza Brijmohan, a proud resident of Anna Regina in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of my homeland, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our rich heritage. Whether it’s enjoying a plate of pepperpot during the holidays or gathering with family for a casual cook-up of fried rice and chicken, every meal is a celebration of our unique flavors and traditions.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I’m passionate about connecting with fellow Guyanese across the world. There’s a special bond that comes from sharing our experiences, whether it’s reminiscing about the beauty of the Essequibo River or the joy of attending a lively Diwali festival. I often find myself laughing at memories of the 'dramatization of Guyana guy and Venezuela girl' that so many of us can relate to, and I love hearing what others have to say about our culture, both good and bad.
