Hello! I’m Shania Arjoon, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, specifically 18 West of Public Road in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Living here allows me to experience the vibrant culture and natural beauty of Guyana every day. From the rich greenery of the Pomeroon River to the sounds of the local wildlife, my surroundings inspire me to connect with nature and my community.
As a true Guyanese, I have a deep appreciation for our culinary heritage—particularly our beloved duck curry that brings everyone together for a hearty meal. Whether it’s enjoying a Sunday lunch with family or sharing a plate of spicy pepper pot with friends, food is a vital part of our culture that reflects our warmth and hospitality.
