Greetings! My name is Shankar Seecharan, and I proudly call 48 Reliance Housing in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Growing up in Guyana, I have been deeply influenced by our vibrant culture and the rich heritage of our land. As a resident of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I cherish the warmth of our communities. The lush Pomeroon River and its surrounding settlements, such as Lower Pom River Quitaro and Wakapau, are not just places; they are an integral part of my identity. I often reminisce about my school days and how we would gather to enjoy the best local food after classes, creating memories that last a lifetime.
Though I now find myself connected to a wider diaspora, my heart remains rooted in Guyana.
