Growing up in the lush landscapes of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I have developed a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage. From the rhythm of the tassa drums during festivities to the aroma of freshly prepared cook-up rice wafting through the air, every aspect of my upbringing is rooted in the unique traditions that define our Guyanese identity.
As a resident of this beautiful region, I find joy in connecting with both locals and the diaspora. Whether it's reminiscing about the sweet mangoes from the Pomeroon River or sharing stories about our beloved landmarks, like the scenic banks of the Lower Pomeroon, I believe our shared experiences enrich our community.
