Hello! My name is Sharon Joseph, a dedicated teacher based in the vibrant community of La Belle on the Essequibo Coast. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage of Guyana, I have always been passionate about sharing the beauty of our diverse traditions, languages, and customs. From the rhythmic sounds of chutney music to the tantalizing flavors of pepperpot and metemgee, I strive to instill a sense of pride and understanding of our rich heritage in my students.
As a proud Indo-Guyanese, I value the unique blend of cultures that make up our nation, and I am committed to fostering connections between our local communities and the Guyanese diaspora around the world.
