Hello! I’m Sharon Jones-Alfred, a dedicated teacher based in the heart of Guyana, nestled on Coast 33 First Street, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in the vibrant community of Upper Pomeroon has given me a deep appreciation for our rich culture, from the sweet taste of cassava bread and pepperpot during family gatherings to the serene beauty of the Pomeroon River, where I often find solace. Education is my passion, and I strive to inspire my students to embrace their heritage while reaching for their dreams.
As a proud Guyanese, I cherish the connections I have with our diaspora, especially those who carry the spirit of our nation wherever they go.
