Hello! I’m Shavon Henry, a proud resident of St. Deny's Tapakuma in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of beautiful Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant cultures of this area has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich heritage, from the flavorful dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice to the rhythmic sounds of our local music. I believe that every meal shared and story told brings us closer together, whether we're gathered under a palm tree or connecting with fellow Guyanese across the globe.
