Welcome! My name is Shazia Khan, and I proudly call 21 Belfield Leguan in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Growing up in this vibrant corner of the world, I have always been surrounded by the rich cultural heritage that defines us—whether it's sharing a hearty meal of cook-up rice and fried fish or gathering with family and friends to celebrate Phagwah and Eid. Each tradition holds a special place in my heart, and they remind me of the importance of community and togetherness.
As a resident of Leguan, I cherish the stunning landscapes that my island has to offer, from the lush green fields to the serene banks of the Pomeroon River. These natural wonders not only inspire my daily life but also connect me with the beauty of our homeland, even as many of us wander far and wide. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
