Hello! My name is Sheila Mangalle, and I proudly call Bank Essequibo my home. Nestled along the Pomeroon River, my community is a vibrant blend of cultures, rich traditions, and warm-hearted people. Growing up here, I’ve been fortunate to enjoy the lush landscapes and the lively spirit that characterize our beautiful country. Whether it’s visiting the iconic lighthouse or the historic white monuments that dot our region, every corner of Guyana tells a unique story.
Food is a big part of my life and culture. From the mouthwatering flavors of pepperpot to the fresh catch of fish from the river, I love sharing our culinary heritage with friends and family. I often reminisce about local eateries that serve the best dishes, and I can confidently say that no one does it quite like Guyana!
