Hello! I’m Shelroy Clarke, a proud Guyanese serving as a policeman in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region, specifically from Coast 72 Water Street. My commitment to community safety is driven by a deep love for my homeland, where the lush landscapes and the welcoming spirit of our people inspire me every day. Growing up in an area known for its beautiful rivers and rich agricultural lands, I've cultivated a strong connection to both the land and its inhabitants.
Outside of my duties, I cherish moments spent enjoying our local cuisine—especially a hearty plate of pepperpot or a delicious bowl of cook-up rice, often shared during family gatherings. I believe that food is a vital part of our culture, reflecting the diverse influences that shape our nation. I also feel a special bond with my fellow Guyanese, whether at home or abroad, as we celebrate our heritage and support one another. The stories of our rivers, such as the Curimeru and Pomeroon, are part of our collective memory, reminding us of the importance of our roots.
