Hello! I’m Sherrlyn Amsterdam, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, specifically from the vibrant community of Kilkenny Street in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the rich landscapes and diverse cultures of Guyana has shaped my love for our local heritage. Whether it’s enjoying a plate of pepperpot during the holidays or savoring a sweet treat of guava cheese, I cherish every bite of our national cuisine. I am deeply connected to my roots, celebrating the unique blend of cultures that define us as Guyanese.
