Greetings from the heart of Guyana! Iām Simone Newland, a proud Kitchen Assistant residing in the vibrant Bank Essequibo 2021 New Housing Scheme in Pomeroon-Supenaam. My journey through the culinary world has been deeply influenced by our rich local flavors, from the zesty pepperpot to the comforting simplicity of cook-up rice. As I work in the kitchen, I often reflect on the beauty that surrounds us and the resilience of our communities.
