Greetings from Guyana! I’m Sinekka Kalamazad, a proud resident of 35 Enterprise Leguan in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region. My roots run deep in this vibrant land, where the rich cultures and traditions weave together to create a unique identity. From the bustling markets of Georgetown to the serene banks of the Essequibo River, every corner of my home tells a story. I firmly believe that life here is best enjoyed with a plate of dhalpuri and curry, sharing laughter and memories with family and friends.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the nuances of our identity, often jokingly compared to our Trinidadian neighbors. While some may quip about the challenges we face, like the widening gap between the haves and have-nots, we also celebrate the warmth of our community.
