Hello! I’m Soeva Ramdatt, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, specifically on 84 Shiva Avenue in Zorg, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant landscapes of Guyana, I’ve developed a deep love for our lush rainforests, the winding rivers, and of course, the incredible cuisine that brings our community together. From savoring a hearty plate of pepperpot at family gatherings to enjoying a sweet and spicy mango chutney, food has always played an essential role in my life and culture.
As a part of the diaspora community, I cherish the connections we maintain with fellow Guyanese around the world.
