Greetings! My name is Sohanlall Dindial, and I proudly call the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Growing up near the Essequibo Coast, I have always been surrounded by lush landscapes and the warm-hearted spirit of the Guyanese people. There's truly nothing like enjoying a plate of pepperpot or a good bowl of metemgee while sharing stories with family and friends. Our local food is a reflection of our cultural melting pot, and I cherish the flavors that remind me of home, especially the ones that connect us to our Indian roots, much like the Trinidadian cuisine that many in the diaspora enjoy.
